The Classic Channel is not your everyday channel strip, with a surgical equalizer and fast bus compressor. The Classic Channel is a vintage style and warm sounding channel strip put together from the most famous and classic Tube-Tech gear: The “Pultec” equalizer PE 1C, the mid-range equalizer ME 1B and the tube driven opto compressor CL 1B.

Dynamics
A secret weapon to some – a hidden treasure to the rest. Squash drums, get a snappy bassline, enhance track dynamics, duck, gate, key or de-ess – the Valley People Dyna-mite is a swiss army knife limiter/expander design with unique character that inspires to new sounds.
This classic compressor is all about gentle and natural sounding gain reduction. It effortlessly keeps your material’s dynamics controlled without ever strangling the sound. Everything you put into the TLA-100A comes out the other end big and compact sounding.
The FET Compressor is an impressively faithful modeling of one of the most iconic compressors of all time. FET Compressor is loved for its aggressiveness and its tendency to add some tasty distortion to the sound source when driven hard. This compressor loves to be slammed and abused. But few things are so good they can’t be improved, so we added a couple of nice features that makes it even more flexible than the hardware original.
Being able to control the attack and decay of a sound is tremendously useful for anyone mixing music. But Softube’s Transient Shaper goes beyond that due to the fact that it’s a dual band processor. This means that the user can set it to affect only the treble or bass portion of a sound—separately for the Sustain and Punch parameters—and leave the rest untouched. This opens up a new realm of possibilities.
Optical compressors have a particular way of responding to the incoming signal that is uniquely compelling and musical. But they are of course not all the same, and the Tube-Tech CL 1B is the prime example of what an optic compressor is capable of. It is highly versatile and can go from soft and gentle to snappy and punchy by the twist of a few knobs.
Equalizers
Loved and coveted by sound engineers all over the world for its super huge bass and its silky shiny treble, the PE 1C is Tube-Tech’s modern day take on the famous Pultec tube-driven passive equalizer. It does things no other equalizer can, and when you start twisting the knobs you will find it’s more versatile than it may appear at first.

The Tonelux Tilt plug-in is a fast and easy way of making a track sit better in a mix or make it sound “warmer” or “cooler”. It’s also perfect in a live situation where you need to tweak the whole mix to adjust for ear fatigue.

Mutronics Mutator creates mind boggling filter sweep effects on any sound source—guitars, vocals, keyboards, drums, etc. Mutator is essentially a super sweet stereo analog filter and an envelope follower, based on technology developed for analog synthesis in the 1960s. It’s fair to say that The Mutator is more of a creative tool than purely a mix tool.
